New York Watch Repair

If you are looking for watch repair services, then chances are, you have a pretty high end watch. You have a watch you care enough about that you actually want to go take a trip, and pay someone to repair it for you. And the reality is that expensive watches do break more often than cheap watches. That's because they are hand made.

I'll give you an example of when I needed a watch repaired in New York. I had a Citizen Eco Drive, which goes for around $400. Not exactly high end, but decent quality. The thing had just stopped ticking. I went to a reputable watch repairer in New York and it took them about two weeks to fix it. About a month after that it stopped working again. Figuring it was the fault of the repairer, I sent it back to Citizen (it was still under warranty), and had them fix it. It came back ticking again, but soon after, it stopped working again! I came to the conclusion that it was just a lousy watch. I guess the moral of the story is that a watch repairer is only as good as the watch you give them.

Since then I brought a Tag Heuer Aquaracer for around $2000 off eBay. I've had it for a year now and haven't had any problems. I really hope I don't have to take it to a repairer in the near future.
